StakeEasy launch details

With the launch of StakeEasy mainnet coming closer, we wanted to share details on how things will be during and after mainnet launch. We provide some details on our Community farming event which will be live a few days after launch.

1. Launch date

The mainnet launch is set to 18th March, 2022. The mainnet app will be accessible through https://app.stakeeasy.finance/ and whitelisted users will be able to make deposits. After 25 days of mainnet launch, ie, 12th April 2022 onwards, the protocol will be accessible to everyone.

2. Whitelisted launch

The first 25 days of mainnet launch is for whitelisted users only. This is done to incentivise our testnet users and to have a smooth launch.

There are 500 whitelist spots in total, out of these 500 spots, 300 are chosen from testnet users, 100 will be given away through twitter and discord AMAs, 100 will be chosen though different other means.

3. Community farming

To let our early adopters be our early investors, we’ll be launching community farming event right after mainnet launch.

Community farming will let anyone who stakes their $SCRT to mint $seSCRT be able to swap their $SCRT staking rewards for our governance token $SEASY token. More details on community farming will be shared in our upcoming blog post.

4. $SEASY token utility

Our governance token $SEASY can be used to participate in platform governance proposals such as changing the validator selection mechanism, choosing which DEX pair to incentivise etc.

The $SEASY holders will also be able to get fees sharing from platform’s staking fees.

5. Post launch timeline

Post mainnet launch, there will be community farming period which will occur in 2 phases, one for whitelisted users and second when the protocol is accessible to everyone.

The community farming period will be 2 months and post community farming, the $seSCRT/$SCRT pair will be listed on DEXs on Secret Network and users will be able to swap these tokens to stake/unstake their $SCRT instantaneously.
