StakeEasy is a staking Derivative protocol for Juno Network in which users can stake their JUNO and get a cw-20 token seJUNO/ bJUNO in return. Both the derivative tokens have different features and usage in DeFi which provide freedom for users to choose the one according to their preference.

StakeEasy has now integrated with Osmosis Zone. The following pools have been incentivized with SEASY (StakeEasy’s governance token):

  • seJUNO/OSMO
  • seJUNO/JUNO
  • SEASY/OSMO

In case you are not familiar with the Osmosis Zone platform, the steps below will serve as a guide to maximize the liquidity pools successfully.

Requirements: Keplr wallet + some JUNO balance in your wallet.

Before you start: install Keplr wallet in your browser and follow the wallet setup process. Make sure JUNO is available in your wallet balance. You can easily get some ATOM from your favorite CEX, send to your Keplr wallet and swap to JUNO using the osmosis DEX platform at https://app.osmosis.zone/.

Things to keep in mind: You will be earning APY in SEASY — the governance token of the StakeEasy Protocol. The distribution occurs once in 24 hours at epoch time- around 17:15 UTC.

Step 1: Acquire and stake your JUNO

The first thing is to stake your JUNO tokens via http://juno.stakeeasy.finance/ to get the seJUNO derivative. Users can find details on how to stake their JUNO tokens in our previous article here: https://stakeeasy.medium.com/stakeeasys-user-guide-to-stake-juno-d6c71b8b31f. You can as well acquire your seJUNO directly on Junoswap.

Step 2: Selecting a pool

On Osmosis Zone, you will find the available StakeEasy pools that are incentivized with $SEASY. Look through the list, check the coins/tokens on Coingecko or CoinMarketCap and decide which ones you think are most interesting. Currently, we have 3 different pools you can select from.

Details of this can be found here:
https://stakeeasy.medium.com/stakeeasys-integration-with-osmosis-473bb0070f71

Step 3: Add liquidity to the pool

Let’s use seJUNO/OSMO (Pool #793) as an example. Select the desired pool, #793 for this tutorial, https://frontier.osmosis.zone/pool/793. At the top, click “Add/Remove Liquidity”. Now enter the desired amount of seJUNO you intend to pool with. This should auto-fill the OSMO row with the correct balance amount. Click “Add Liquidity”.

Step 4: Bond your LP token

In order to earn the high APYs, don’t forget to bond your LP token. Click “Start Earning” on the pool’s page to bring up the bonding options. You should bond your token for 14 days. Pool bonding for over 14 days comes with an additional bonding incentive for 45 days.

  • Staking your JUNO using stakeEasy is the first step!
